H. 1260-1261/M. 1844-1845 tarihli Temettuât defterine göre Sungurlu kasabası: Transkripsiyon ve değerlendirme

Abstract

Bu çalışma Sungurlu Kasabası'nın iktisâdî ve sosyal yapısını ortaya koymak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın esas kaynağını H. 1260-1261/M. 1844-1845 tarihli Temettuât defterleri oluşturmaktadır. Çalışma giriş, dört bölüm ve sonuç kısımlarından oluşmaktadır. Giriş bölümünde, Sungurlu Kasabası'nın kısa tarihçesi, Temettuât defterlerinin önemi anlatılmıştır. Birinci bölümde Sungurlu'nun sosyal yapısı, bu kasabada yaşayan nüfusun özellikleri, hâne reislerinin kullandığı adlar, meslekler, unvan ve lakaplar belirtilmiştir. İkinci bölümde Sungurlu Kasabası'nda ki tarım ve hayvancılık faaliyetlerine değinilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde Sungurlu'nun ekonomik yapısı üzerinde durularak hâne reislerinin gelirleri ve hâne reislerinden alınan vergiler hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde tezin transkripsiyonuna yer verilmiştir. Sonuç bölümünde, çalışmanın genel bir değerlendirmesi yapılmıştır.

This study was conducted to illustrate the economic and social structure of Sungurlu town. The main source of the study is the Temettuat Registers dates H. 1260 - 1261/ M. 1844 - 1845. The study has three parts and the result parts. In the introduction part, brief history of Sungurlu town, the importance of Temettuat Registers were explained. In the first part, the social structure of Sungurlu, the characteristics of the population living in this town, the names used by the heads of households, professions, titles and nicknames were studied. In the Second Part, agricultural and animal husbandry activities were examined in Sungurlu town. The third part focuses on Sungurlu's economic structure and gives information about the incomes of the head of the household and the taxes taken from the head of the household. In the conclusion section, an overall evaluation of the study was made.
