Abstract
Philological studies on The Book of Dede Korkut mostly consist of interpretations/corrections of the words that are thought to be read erroneous by previous researchers or determining scribal errors on the text which lead to the accurate interpretation, reading and reconstruction of it. Such studies are required to constitute the impeccable and error-free form of the text. However, while doing this, other related studies on the text, be it language-internal or extra-linguistic, must not be neglected.
