İslâm Felsefesinin Zirve Filozofu: İbn Rüşd -Faslu’l-Makâl Merkezli Bir İnceleme

Abstract

Batı'da Averroes olarak da tanınan İbn Rüşd, İslâm felsefesinin Doğu’ya ve Batı’ya etki eden en önemli düşünürlerinden birisidir. Makalemizde İbn Rüşd’ün felsefe ve din ilişkisine dair kurgusu incelenecektir. İncelememizin dayanağını felsefe ve din üzerinden yapılan kavramsal analizler oluşturmaktadır. Bu bağlamda İttisal, Hikmet, Din ve Şeriat kavramları analiz edilerek, buradan hareketle Felsefe ve Din ilişkisinin mahiyeti değerlendirilecektir. Dini anlama noktasındaki farklılıklara değinilerek, felsefe ve din ilişkisinde metni anlama yöntemi tevil ve tefsir ayrımından hareketle değerlendirilecektir. Bu bağlamda Batı’da bilim ve din tartışması olarak ortaya çıkan, İslâm felsefesinde de felsefe ve kelam tartışması olarak karşılığını bulan tartışmada İbn Rüşd’ün tutumu, filozoflar ve kelamcılar bakımından incelenecektir. Makale, temelde İbn Rüşd’ün felsefe ve din uyumuna dair kurgusunu ortaya koyarak, felsefe ve kelam arasındaki tartışmalarda İbn Rüşd’ün konumunu netleştirmeyi hedeflemektedir.

Ibn Rushd, also known as Averroes in the West, is one of the most important thinkers of Islamic philosophy who affected both East and the West. In our article, Ibn Rushd's construct of philosophy and the relation with religion will be examined. The basis of our research is the conceptual analysis based on philosophy and religion. In this context, the concepts of Unity, Wisdom, Religion and Sharia will be analyzed and the nature of the relationship between Philosophy and Religion will be evaluated. Referring to the differences in religious viewpoints, the method of understanding the text in relation between philosophy and religion will be evaluated in terms of tawil and tafsir. In this context, the attitude of Ibn Rushd towards the debate on science and religion in the West, corresponds to the discussion of philosophy and Kalam in Islamic philosophy; the issue will be examined in terms of philosophers and theologians in this study. The article mainly aims to clarify the position of Ibn Rushd in the debate between philosophy and wisdom by setting out Ibn Rushd's conception of philosophy and religion as a harmony.
