Cepteki Yaşamlar İçin Cepten Çıkanlar: Üniversite Öğrencilerinin Cep Telefonu Ödeme İstekliliği Üzerine Bir Araştırma

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı üniversite öğrencilerinin mevcut gelir durumlarıyla ihtiyaç duydukları özelliklere sahip bir cep telefonuna yönelik ödeme istekliliklerini belirlemektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda birbirine yakın sosyoekonomik profillere sahip öğrencilerin öğrenim gördüğü Hitit ve Giresun Üniversitelerinde 812 öğrenciye yüz yüze anket uygulanmış ve elde edilen veriler SPSS paket programı yardımıyla frekans, faktör, bağımsız iki örneklem t-testi ve tek yönlü varyans analizine tabi tutulmuştur. Araştırma sonuçları öğrencilerin bir cep telefonu için ödeyebilecekleri tutarın ortalama 2071 TL olduğunu, imkân olduğunda bu tutarın yaklaşık 1500 TL fazlasını ödeyebileceklerini göstermektedir. Cep telefonuna ilişkin tutumlar farklı markaların kullanıcılarında farklılaşmaktadır.

The aim of this study is to determine the willingness of university students to pay for a mobile phone with the features they need in their current income situation. For this purpose, a face-to-face questionnaire was applied to 812 students at Hitit and Giresun Universities with similar socioeconomic profiles and frequency, factor analysis, independent samples t-test and One Way ANOVA were applied to data by SPSS package program. The results show that the average amount that students can pay for a mobile phone is 2071 TL, and when this is possible, this amount can pay about 1500 TL. Attitudes towards mobile phones differ among users of different brands.
