Gençlerin Bağlanma Stilleri İle Eş Seçimi Arasındaki İlişkinin İncelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı; gençlik merkezlerinden hizmet alan gençlerin bağlanma stilleri ile eş seçmede öncelikleri ve çeşitli sosyodemografik özellikleri arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesidir. Bu araştırma, nicel desende tasarlanmış olup ilişkisel tarama modelinden yararlanılmıştır. Çalışmanın evreni, Konya Selçuklu ilçesinde bulunan Kılıçarslan ve Talha Bayrakçı Gençlik Merkezlerine gelen gençlerden oluşmaktadır. Basit tesadüfi örnekleme yöntemi ile 608 katılımcının anketleri değerlendirmeye alınmış ve gerekli analizler yapılmıştır. Araştırmada, korelasyon analizi yapılmış olup ve katılımcıların bağlanma stilleri durumu ile eş seçme öncelikleri arasında pozitif yönden bir ilişkinin olduğu saptanmıştır. Ayrıca, katılımcıların cinsiyet değişkeni ile güvenli bağlanma alt boyutu toplam puan ortalaması arasında anlamlı bir farklılık saptanmıştır. Kadınların almış oldukları toplam puanın erkeklerinkine göre daha yüksek olduğu görülmüştür. Benzer bir sonuç da eş seçmede öncelikler ölçeğinin toplam puan ortalaması ile katılımcıların cinsiyet değişkeni arasında anlamlı bir farklılık tespit edilmiştir. Buna göre, kadınların almış oldukları puan erkeklere göre daha yüksek çıkmıştır. Sonuç olarak güvenli bağlanmanın, yaşamın bütün süreçleri üzerinde etkisi olduğu gibi özellikle eş seçimi üzerinde de tesirli olduğu saptanmıştır. Dolayısıyla, bebeklikten itibaren gelişen ve devam eden bağlanma stilleri, özellikle güvenli bağlanmanın kişi ya da kişilerin gelecekte yapacakları her türlü planların yapılmasında, isabetli ve mantıklı kararların verilmesinde oldukça etkili olduğu varsayılmaktadır.

The aim of this research; it is examine the relationship between the attachment styles of young people who receive service from youth centers and their priorities in choosing spouse and various sociodemographic variable. This research was designed in a quantitative form design and the relational scanning model was used. The universe of the study consists of youth young people who come to Kılıçarslan and Talha Bayrakçı Youth Centers in Konya Selçuklu district. The questionnaires of 608 participants were evaluated by using the simple random sampling method and analyzes were made. In this context the study, the correlation analysis performed for both applied scales and was examined. It was found that there was a positive significant relationship between both scales. In addition, a significant difference was found between the gender variable of the participants and the total score of the secure attachment sub-dimension of the three-dimensional attachment scale, and it was observed that the total score obtained by women was higher than that of men. A similar result was found that to be a significant difference between the total score of the priorities scale in choosing a spouse and the gender variable of the participants. Thus the scores of women were found higher than men. As a result, it has been determined that secure attachment has an effect on all processes of life as well as especially on the choice of a partner. Therefore, it is assumed that especially secure attachment, which develops and continues from childhood is very effective in making all kinds of plans and sensible, rational decisions that a person or individuals will make in the future.
