    This thesis examines Turkey-Palestine relations through a historical and analytical approach, within the framework of both official state policies and the attitudes of the Turkish public opinion. It evaluates the transformation within the historical process and the change beginning with the 2000s from a holistic perspective. The study adopts a qualitative research design, with a literature review at its core. Additionally, the historical method and comparative analysis are used together; reports, research, and news content reflecting the public's approach to the Palestine issue, as well as the Palestine-focused activities of non-governmental organizations, have been evaluated. In this context, the thesis seeks an answer to the question: 'How are Turkey-Palestine relations shaped through the interaction between public opinion and official policy?'; it also conducts a discussion on what the main dynamics shaping Turkey's Palestine policy are, to what extent public opinion influences foreign policy decisions, and how the tension between official discourse and social conscience can be explained. The findings reveal that the Turkish public has historically been in strong solidarity with Palestine, and this situation has at times created indirect pressure on decision-makers. However, the fact that Turkey, while offering clear support to Palestine on one hand, maintains its political and economic relations with Israel on the other, can be subject to criticism in public opinion. In this context, the thesis analyzes Turkey's Palestine policy not only at the level of foreign policy, but also in a multi-layered manner with its dimensions of identity, historical responsibility, domestic political debates, and conscience.
