This study, which is based on the quantitative research method, was conducted by survey method. Survey method is a method that reveals the status, conditions and characteristics of events, objects, entities, groups, etc. In this study, this method was used since it was aimed to determine the OHS awareness of the students of the Vocational School of Health Services (SHMYO) who will work in the health sector of the future before working life. OHS awareness scale was prepared and the validity and accuracy of the scale was tested. The 'OHS Awareness Scale', the validity and accuracy of which were determined, was applied to the students of the relevant program and in the light of the data obtained, nonparametric analysis methods were used to determine which OHS awareness varies depending on which demographic characteristics. The results obtained were interpreted and compared with the relevant literature. As a result, future studies can focus on developing positive behaviors and increasing the level of awareness in employees through in-service training programs in healthcare organizations.
