Today, it is necessary for production management to be efficient due to issues such as increasing competition, increasing profitability, and survival of companies under difficult competitive conditions. This need has led companies to create more efficient production systems instead of traditional production systems in order to keep up with today's conditions and meet customer demands. Lean Manufacturing is a production philosophy that enables companies to respond to customer demand by reducing waste. Reducing production costs and increasing efficiency through process analysis is very important for the competitiveness of the company Process analysis and process improvement efforts applied by companies in production aim to design the system to provide minimum cost and maximum benefit. In this study; a part of the production process of a large shoe manufacturing factory was taken and a process improvement study was conducted to identify and eliminate the problems that negatively affect the production system. The goal is to reduce work-in-process inventory, increase capacity utilization, and reduce production waste A simulation model of the production process was carried out. The results and proposals for eliminating the bottlenecks and wastes were discussed.
