Öğe Design and implementation of substrate integrated waveguide filter to work on X-band and Ku-band(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc., 2018) Güvenli, Kemal; Yenikaya, Sibel; Seçmen, MustafaIn this paper, the microstrip to Substrate Integrated Waveguide(SIW) transition bandpass filter is designed and fabricated. It can be used in satellite communication, 5G and radar technology. SIW waveguide conditions and bandpass filter-specific input loss method are used to obtain design parameters. The CST Microwave Studio simulation program was used to simulate the SIW filter with two symmetrical windows. After that the SIW filter was fabricated using the Roger 4003C. It is seen that the obtained simulation results and the measurement values are compatible with each other. © 2018 IEEE.Öğe Raspberry pi ve snort ile SOHO networklerde bir güvenlik duvarı uygulaması(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc., 2017) Coşar, Mustafa; Karasartova, SuikumIn small and home office (SOHO) computer networks, an intrusion detection system can be activated to intercept the possible attack. Network traffic analysis is the basis of attack detection methods. In the intrusion detection process, both hardware and software solutions are available, as well as in systems that are bundled together. Hosting these systems in SOHO networks is usually negligible because it is considered a costly and laborious investment. In order to overcome this disadvantage open source code Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) such as snort and strata can be used together with raspberry pi computers. In this study, a raspberry pi device was prepared on a small scale network and a network traffic analysis application was performed with the snort IDS module installed on it. It has been determined that some of the malicious traffic on the network by activated developing system. © 2017 IEEE.Öğe Diagnosis of broken rotor fault in inverter-fed im by using analytical signal angular fluctuation(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc., 2014) Göktaş, Taner; Arkan, MüslümThe aim of this paper is to detect broken rotor bar fault at the presence of low frequency load torque oscillation in inverter-fed induction motors. The low frequency load torque oscillation in induction motor may sometimes have the same effect as broken rotor bar fault on the stator current. Especially, when load torque oscillation frequency is close to twice the slip frequency, additional processing need to be done to separate these two effects from each other. To discern these two effects, Analytical Signal Angular Fluctuation (ASAF) spectrum is used. In recent years, many methods, which are used to distinguish these two effects, have been published. In this study, a new method, which is based on Analytical Signal Angular Fluctuation (ASAF) signal, is developed to separate effects of load oscillation from broken rotor bar, especially when load oscillation is close to twice slip frequency. The simulation results are presented for the proposed method to show that, discerning broken rotor bar faults from low frequency load oscillation is possible. The developed method is independent of motor parameters. © 2013 IEEE.
