So far, the number of departments of mining engineering adds up to 28 and second program is provided by 12, and the number of programs of mining engineering in total have been 40. Consequently, the problems these departments are facing in mining engineering education are mentioned, as well as some researches carried out and work opportunities for mining engineers.
