dc.description.abstractBorderline ovaryan tümörler tüm over malignansileri içinde yaklaşık %10-20 sıklıkta görülür. Her yaşta görülebilmekle birlikte en sık tanı yaşı 34-40 yaş arasıdır ve hastaların %34’ü 40 yaş altındadır. Borderline ovaryan tümörlerde fertilite koruyucu cerrahi bu nedenle önemli bir konudur. Konservatif yaklaşım sonrası gebelik oranı neredeyse %50’dir ve çoğu spontan gebeliktir. Konservatif cerrahide rekürrens oranı daha fazla olmakla birlikte sağkalımı etkilemediği görülmektedir. Önemli konu hangi hastalar için konservatif cerrahinin jinekolog onkologlarca kabul edilebilir olduğudur. Bu nedenle, literatürde yayınlanan güncel verileri tartışarak borderline ovaryan tümörlerde fertilite koruyucu cerrahi yaklaşımını ve sonuçlarını derledik.
dc.description.abstractBorderline ovarian tumours account for 10-20% of all epithelial ovarian cancer. The most frequent age, at diagnosis, of borderline ovarian tumor (BOT) is 34-40, with 34% of patients younger than 40. Fertility-sparing treatment of BOT is therefore an important issue. This conservative treatment increases the rate of recurrence, albeit with no effect on survival. The pregnancy rate is nearly 50%, and most are achieved spontaneously. The question is whether this is acceptable from a gynaecologic oncologic point of view. For this reason, we will discuss recently published studies about the mode of fertility-sparing surgery and its consequences.
