Özet
Tezin konusu XV-XVI. yüzyıllarda yaşamış Halvetiyye tarîkatı meşayıhından Mudurnulu Şeyh Dâvûd'nin (915-1509) hayatı, eserleri ve tasavvufi görüşleridir. Tez, giriş ve iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. Giriş bölümünde Şeyh Dâvûd'un müntesibi olduğu Halvetiyye tarîkatına dair genel bilgilere yer verilmiş, Halvetiyye tarîkatının sistematiği ve Şeyh Dâvûd'un tarîkatın içerisindeki yeri ve önemi ifade edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Tezin birinci bölümünde Şeyh Dâvûd'un ailesi, doğumu, ilmi serüve, müntesip olduğu tarîkatı ve tarîkat silsilesi, seyir ve sülûku, yetiştirdiği halifeleri, eserleri, şahsiyeti ve tesirleri incelenmiştir. Tezin ikinci bölümünde ise Şeyh Dâvûd'un tasavvuf düşüncesi ve tasavvufi kavramları nasıl yorumladığı Gülşen-i Tevhîd doğrultusunda incelenmiştir. Ekler bölümünde eserin orijinal nüshasının görüntülerine yer verilmişti
The subject of the thesis is Shaykh Davud-i Khalveti's life, his works and views on sufism, who lived in Mudurnu in XV-XVI. century. The thesis consist of introduction and two chapter. The introduction include general information about Khalwatiyyah sect which is followed by Shaykh Davud and it's structure and the position and the importance of Shaykh Davud in the sect. In the first chapter, the family of Shaykh Davud, his birth, scolarly adventure, the sect followed by him and the chain of the sect, his mystic path (seyr u suluk), his vicegerents (khalifas), works, personality and the influence of him were examined. In the second chapter, Shaykh Davud's view on sufism and his comment about sufistic concepts were studied in accordance with Gulshan-i Tawheed. Some pictures from his original work (Gulsen-i Tevhid) placed in the appendix
