dc.description.abstractIn this study, the Microstrip-Substrate Integrated Waveguide (M-SIW) wideband band-stop filter is designed and fabricated based on low cost and simplicity. The part of Substrate Integrated Waveguide (SIW) high-pass filter and the part of microstip low-pass filter are combined in a modular concept design to achieve the M-SIW band-stop filter. This design is very clear and easy to achieve a band-stop filter at the desired frequency. The experimental measurement of manufactured M-SIW wideband band-stop filter was found to be fC = 4.74 GHz and BW = 5.15 GHz. Based on CST simulation; the frequency change in fC according to measurement is 5.8% and also the frequency change in BW according to measurement is 7.07%. It is generally seen that simulation results and the measured results are compatible with each other. © 2020 IEEE.
