Özet
Toplumsal ve kişisel yararları, demografik bağıntıları, köken teorileri ve kültürle olan ilişkileri açısından öznel iyi oluş alanında kapsamlı bir gözden geçirme sunuyoruz. Ekonomik ve sosyal göstergelerle birlikte hem ulusların içerisindeki yaşam kalitesini ortaya çıkarmak hem de geliştirmek amacıyla kamu politikası için ulusal iyi oluş hesaplarının oluşturulması ve kullanılması gerektiği argümanının yanı sıra iyi oluşu artıracak müdahaleler de sunulmaktadır.
We provide a comprehensive review of the field of subjective well-being in terms of its societal and individual benefits, demographic correlates, theories of origin, and relationship to culture. Interventions to increase well-being are also presented as well as the argument that national accounts of well-being for public policy should be instituted and utilized, alongside economic and social indicators, to both reveal and improve the quality of life within nations.
