Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı Türkiye’de hizmetler sektöründe reel döviz kurundaki değişmelerin brüt ücretler üzerindeki uzun dönem etkilerini ARDL sınır testi ile incelemektir. Çalışmada 2006:1-2017:4 dönemi çeyreklik verileri kullanılmıştır. Hizmetler sektörü reel döviz kurundaki değişmelerden doğrudan etkilenen sektörlerden biridir. Çalışmada elde edilen bulgular, hizmetler sektöründe reel döviz kuru ile brüt ücretler arasında uzun dönemde eşbütünleşme ilişkisinin olduğunu göstermektedir. Ayrıca reel döviz kurundaki değişmelerin brüt ücretler üzerinde anlamlı bir etkisi bulunmaktadır.
The aim of this study is to examine the long-run effect of changes in real exchange rate on gross wages in the services sector of Turkey with ARDL bounds test approach. In this study, 2006:1-2017:4 quarterly data are used. The services sector is one of the sectors that directly effected by changes in the real exchange rate. Findings in the study shows that there is a long-run cointegration relationship between the real exchange rate and the gross wages in the services sector. Besides, changes in the real exchange rate have a significant effect on gross wages.
