Özet
"Başlangıçtan Emevilere İslam Tarihinde Kudüs" konulu tez çalışmasında Kudüs tarihi ilk kaynaklar ışığında ele alınmıştır. Kronolojik sıralama dikkate alınarak hazırlanan bu çalışmada Kudüs şehrinin İslam Tarihi alanındaki öneminin aktarılması amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma; Kudüs'ün fiziki yapısını, coğrafi konumunu, tarih boyunca aldığı isimleri, Yahudiler, Hıristiyanlar ve Müslümanlar için önemini, kuruluşundan itibaren Dört Halife Dönemi sonuna kadar olan süreci kapsamaktadır.
In the thesis titled ''Jerusalem in the Islamic History from the beginning to Umayyads'' Jerusalem is handled under the light of first sources. In this work, organised chronologically, it is aimed to transmit the importance of Jerusalem in the field of Islamic History. The work contains physical structure of Jerusalem, its geographical position, the names taken by the city among the history, the importance of the city for Jews, Christians and Muslims, and the process of the city from the beginning to the end of Four Caliphs period.
