dc.description.abstract	Öz: Bu çalışmanın amacı, 2018 yılında değişen üniversite sınav sisteminin, üniversitelerin özel yetenek sınavı ile öğrenci alan Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Yüksekokulları ile Spor Bilimleri Fakülteleri’ne başvuru için gerekli olan taban puanlarını etkileyip etkilemediğinin incelenmesi ve adayların özel yetenek sınavlarına başvuru, katılım, başarı ve kaydolma durumlarının değerlendirilmesidir. Bu amaçla, 2017 ve 2018 yıllarına ait Özel Yetenek Sınavı kitapçıklarına ulaşılmış olan 51 üniversite çalışmaya dahil edilmiştir. Verilerin incelenmesi için, yüzde ve frekans tabloları ile bağımsız örneklem t testi ve ANOVA testleri kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgulara göre, üniversite giriş sınav sistemindeki değişikliğin, özel yetenek sınavlarına başvuru taban puanlarını oldukça etkilediği ancak üniversiteler tarafından başvuru puanlarında yapılan değişikliklerin benzer yönde olmadığı görülmüştür. Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Öğretmenliği bölümleri incelemeye dahil edilen 50 üniversitenin (incelenen üniversitelerden bir tanesi, 2018 yılında puan açıklamamış, başarı sıra numarası kullanmıştır) yalnızca 19’unda başvuru taban puanları değişmezken, 19’unun puanında artış ve 12’sinin puanında ise azalma meydana gelmiştir. Değişen sınav sisteminin, özel yetenek sınavlarına başvuran öğrenci sayısında azalmaya ve adayların bölüm tercihlerinde değişikliğe neden olduğu ortaya konmuştur. Yıllar arasında, adayların diploma notlarında 2018 yılı lehine istatistiksel olarak anlamlı (p <0,01) bir fark olduğu görülmüştür. 2018 yılında, özel yetenek sınavı sonucunda yerleştirilen asil adayların, kayıt yaptırma oranlarının önceki yıla göre azalarak, %37 civarında kaldığı tespit edilmiştir. Üniversitelerin özel yetenek sınavlarını ve/veya öğrenci kayıtlarını aynı tarihlerde yapmalarının bu durumun önüne geçeceği değerlendirilmektedir.
dc.description.abstract	Abstract: The aim of this study is to evaluate the application, examination, success and registration statuses of those who applied for the Faculty of Sports Sciences and Physical Education and Sports High Schools, by taking the changes in the higher education examination system into account. To this purpose, 2017 and 2018 application guidelines of 51 universities were perused. Participation, success and registration statutes of the candidates were analyzed. In order to do this, percent and frequency tables, independent samples t-test and ANOVA were used. According to the results, it was found that the changes in the higher education examination system affected the application limit scores of the talent-based selection exams, but the direction of the changes was unpredictable. While only 19 out of 50 universities, included in the study (except one), did not change the application limit scores, 19 universities increased and 12 universities decreased the scores. It was understood from the results that the new examination system leads to a decrease in the number of students applying for talent-based selection exams and changed the candidates’ way of preferring the programs. When 2017 and 2018 data were compared, there was a statistically significant difference p<0.01) between the candidates' graduation grade point average in favor of 2018. It was determined that the registration rate of the candidates in 2018 was as low as 37% and it was lower than the previous year. It is considered that if universities conduct the talent-based selection exams and/or student registrations on the same dates, this will prevent the loss of registered students
