dc.description.abstractIn present study, some derivatives of 2,6-diaminoanthraquinone dyes are synthesized and their UV-visible spectra are investigated in various conditions. Ten compounds (1a-e) and (2a-e), two of which (1a, 1b) were previously obtained in low yields, have been synthesized by using diazonium salts of 2,6-diaminoanthraquinone and characterized by spectroscopic methods.
