dc.description.abstractThis paper aims to analyze the translation of poetic tajweed work titled Mukaddime by Ibnul'l-Cezeri which was read at the Ottoman madrasah for centuries and translated by Mehmed Emin Tokadi in Ottoman Turkish. The work of Tokadi is not only a translation but also includes conceptual descriptions, samplings for descriptions and detailed explanations. This paper aims to analyze additions to the Mukaddime in his translation in terms of quality and quantity and importance of this translation for today.
