dc.description.abstractOsmanlı toplumunda kadınının kamusal alandaki varlığı ve görünürlüğü meselesi ataerkil aile yapılanması ve şeriatın keskin kuralları içerisinden anlaşılmaya, izah edilmeye çalışıla gelmiştir. Oysaki bu durum Osmanlı toplumunun cinsiyet kültürü ile yakından ilintilidir. Osmanlı cinsiyet kültürü ise kadim Türk geleneklerinin Osmanlı çağına yansıması ile İslam Hukuku’nun uzlaştırılmasından oluşmuş kendine özgü karakteristik bir yapıya sahiptir. Hatta bu yapının gelişiminde zengin imparatorluk unsurları ile modernleşme süreciyle yoğunlaşan Batı etkisi de yadsınmamalıdır. Nitekim Çorum Şeri’yye mahkemesi tutanakları sanılanın aksine Osmanlı cinsiyet kültürü içerisinde cinsiyet ve toplumsal cinsiyet rol kimliği oldukça güçlü ve dinamik bir kadın tipolojisi ortaya koymuştur. Buna göre kadın ne evindeki hareme ne de içine sokulduğu iddia edilen peçesine hapsedilmiştir. Aksine o her fırsatta toplumsal ve kamusal alanda görülebilen, hak ve hukuk mücadelesi verebilen reel bir aktördür.
dc.description.abstractThe presence of women in Ottoman society in the public sphere and visibility issues patriarchal family settlement have been studied and explained within shaia’s strict rules. However, this situation is closely linked with gender culture of the Ottoman society. The Ottoman gender culture has composed of the reflection of autochthonic Turkish traditions and compromised Islamic Law and it is provided with distinctive characteristics. West effect concentrating by modernization process and wealthy empire factors should not be denied. In fact, Corum Sharia Court reports, unlike wthat is supposed to be, have revealed quite strong and dynamic woman typology in Ottoman gender identity and gender role id. According to this, women were confined to neither in harem in their house nor veil which alleged they inserted into. Rather, she is a real ac-tor and can be seen at every turn in the social and public sphere. © 2018, Ahmet Yesevi University. All rights reserved.
