Özet
Uterine perforation after first trimester dilatation and curettage is a rare complication (Kaali et al. 1989; Chen et al. 1995). Large defects in the uterine wall or injury to other intra-abdominal organs can result in serious problems and require immediate surgical treatment (Augustin et al. 2013; Counghlin et al. 2013). Small perforations usually resolve on their own without any complications. The implantation and growth of trophoblastic tissue along the perforation site is a very rare entity (Lam et al. 2002; Pascual et al. 2003). This situation can be confused with benign or malignant processes. We describe two cases that were diagnosed with retained trophoblastic tissue in the myometrium after first-trimester dilatation and curettage.
