Özet
Bu çalışmada insanî nefislerin bedenden ayrılışı sonrası durumu Fârâbî ve İbn Sînâ’ya göre incelendi. Bu iki düşünürü seçmedeki maksadımız, Meşşâî ekole mensup olmaları ve düşüncelerinin benzer ve farklı yönlerini ortaya koymaktır. Konu, kelamcılar tarafından itikâdî boyuta taşınmış ve filozoflara ağır eleştiriler yapılmıştır. Biz konunun itikâdî boyutunu hariç tuttuk ve felsefî boyutuna odaklandık. İnsani nefisler Fârâbî ve İbn Sînâ tarafından cevher olarak kabul edilir. Fârâbî bazı insani nefislerin bedenden ayrılışı sonrası varlığını devam ettirmediğini iddia eder. Fakat İbn Sînâ’ya göre her insani nefis varlığını devam ettirir.
This study aims at investigating the views of F?r?b? and Ibn S?n? concerning the situation of the human souls after leaving the bodies. The reason behind choosing these two figures is this: They are Peripatetic philosophers and we want to clarify the similar and different aspects of their thought. The theologians drew this topic to the sphere of belief and criticized the philosophers very seriously. But I will focus on the philosophical aspect of this subject to the exclusion of its creedal dimension. To the mind of both philosophers, the human souls are substance. However, F?r?b? argues that some human souls will perish once they leave bodies, while Ibn S?n? claims that every human soul will continue to live after its separation from the body.
